  3. Confirmation

Please note, signing up to use Freesites requires either a Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card to pay for your site hosting and your domain registration (if you don't already have a domain).

If you don't have a domain name yet...

The first step will be choosing a domain name for your website (eg. www.mybusiness.com.au). Enter your choice and Click the "Next" button to see if it is available.
(Domain registration is $35 per year.)

If you already have your domain...

... then you will not be charged for domain name registration. Skip the above step by entering the domain name you have already registered here:

www.

Please note:
If you already have a domain name, then you will need to log in to your registrar and change the 'nameserver' details. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS.
We'll send you details for the new 'nameserver' settings which will set your domain to point to our web server.

VERY IMPORTANT - YOU NEED TO READ THIS IF YOU HAVE EMAIL ADDRESSES ALREADY:

If you have email addresses @ your domain with your current host, then these will cease to work when you change your domain's 'nameservers' to ours until you create them in your Freesites admin area > 'My account' menu. So you might want to set up your account and any email addresses you currently use BEFORE changing your domain's nameservers, so it's all ready to take over. You can create your email addresses from within your Freesites account.

If your email account in Outlook or other email program currently uses IMAP connection type top get email from your current host, then you need to archive all your emails to your computer so that you won't lose them.
If you use POP3, then you have already downloaded all your emails to your computer.

Freesites is sooo user-friendly and professional.
